I made this recipe with the orange zest and dried cranberries. They are delicious, and I will make them again. However, I will change up the prep method. I usually try to follow a recipe exactly the first time, which is what I did here. But I do not like grating anything on a box grater, and frozen butter is no exception. And trying to mix the butter into the dry ingredients with my hands was a total mess. So terribly sticky that a large portion of the dough stuck to my fingers. In desperation, I sprayed a little Pam on my hands, and I was finally able to get a ball formed. From that point on, everything went smoothly. The next time I make this recipe, I will skip the grating with a box grater and mixing with my fingers. Instead, I will follow other reviewers suggestions to use my stand mixer or food processor.
