Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Lawry's® Sesame Ginger Marinade With Mandarin Orange Juice
  • 2 pounds chicken thighs, trimmed of excess fat and skin
  •  
  • Grilling Sauce:
  • 1/3 cup Lawry's® Sesame Ginger Marinade With Mandarin Orange Juice
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  •  
  • Garnishes:
  • 1 green onion
  • 1 orange, sliced

Directions

  1. In large Ziploc® bag, combine 1/2 cup Sesame Ginger Marinade with chicken; seal bag. Marinate in refrigerator for 30 minutes to 1 hour. In small bowl, stir together 1/3 cup Marinade and syrup; set aside.
  2. Remove chicken from bag, discarding used marinade. Grill chicken over medium heat 30 minutes or until thoroughly cooked, watching carefully. During last 10 minutes of grilling, turn and brush chicken frequently with grilling sauce to glaze.
  3. Serve chicken on top of orange slices, sprinkled with green onion.

  • You may also substitute boneless, skinless chicken breasts for the thighs and adjust cooking time accordingly.
  • Cooking Tip
  • For success in grilling chicken with the skin on and the bone in, you must watch it carefully. Turn often and move the chicken around on the grill to compensate for hot spots.

I baked this in a 350 oven for about an hour. I added the glaze the last 15 minutes or so....
