Pretty much the same as a lost recipe I'd had years ago. Made these recently and they were wonderful - flavorful but not so much they overpowered the fresh strawberries with which they were served. I used the cuisinart, adding slivered almonds early on so they were really fine by the time the whole thing was complete. Instead of vanilla, I used almond extract - about 3/4 teaspoon. I used only about 1 1/4 cup of coconut as that's all I had - worked just fine. And the sesame seeds - boy are they expensive in the little jars! Fortunately there's a store nearby with a huge selection of things in bulk bins - VERY affordable there. They spread a lot - few of mine were really circular as they kinda ran together. But the taste is rich and delicious - try it; you'll like it!
