This was a great recipe. I changed the seasonings around a bit, and the fries never got crispy, but that's how I like them. Next time I'll use olive oil instead of vegetable oil. Overall tastes like a much healthier version of fries!

Healthy and tasty alternative to french fries. I cut back on the oil to 1 teaspoon, and it was plenty. Omitted the Italian seasoning but added some seasoned salt and sprinkled the potatoes with paprika before popping in the oven. Went great with grilled burgers.

Let me start by saying this recipe has lots of potential. The Italian seasoning was a miss for us. We don't use it very often anyway, but in this dish it just didn't seem to add anything, especially if you're putting ketchup on them anyway. I also cut too many potatoes, and they ended up soggy. So, when I do this again, I will use more salt and garlic and omit the Italian seasoning. I will also make sure that I only have 1 layer of potatoes on the baking sheet. Overall, a solid recipe that you could tweak to your heart's (and family's) content.

I've been following this recipe for a long time now and my family LOVES them. I've always bombed at frying potatoes on the stovetop but this recipe gets raves from hubby and kids. I cheat and use seasoned salt and olive oil (and sometimes a drop or two of basalmic vinegar). They turn out great every time. THANK YOU so much for teaching me how to make "fried" potatoes!

Great recipe! I didn't use the Italian seasoning, but no matter what seasonings you use these are bound to turn out really good. Easy, crispy and delicious - a nice side dish for just about anything.

My family is VERY picky when it comes to their fries. They usually have to be done in a dutch oven full of oil. However, being a new year and committing to a healthier lifestyle, I tried these Seasoned Potato Fries. I made the exactly the way the recipe said to, except I left out the italian seasoning, thinking if I was messing with my families fries, I'd better make them remotely close to "fried"...They were a huge hit!! Even my husband who feels it's blasphemous to BAKE fries said we should do our fries like this all the time :-) Thanks for making me a hero to my family LOL!!

The seasonings are great, but it takes much longer to brown them than the recipe states. I ended up having to put them under the broiler for a few minutes to get them browned. The next time I make these, I'm going to use a 475 degree oven. Other than the browning issue, great recipe!
