I kept the recipe exactly the same and added 1 cup of fresh raspberries... they kinda got all mushed in, oops! Next time I will use frozen. Also added 1/3 cup of white chocolate chip chunks and sprinkle sugar over them before slipping in the oven. GREAT RECIPE!

The scones came out perfect! I added dried cranberries and used orange juice instead of milk. Also I cut the recipe in half, and It made 8 very nice size portions. Will share with co-workers:)

Easy Recipe. Followed all the way through. Added frozen raspberries, which I should have altered how much liquid I added. Dough came out a little to wet & sticky, but nothing I couldn't fix with a little extra flour. Scones came out perfect, really tender and nice. I'll never buy dried out scones at Starbuck's again. I'll bring my own.

WOW! I have a bed and breakfast and needed a quick bread. I found this recipe and it was on the table within a little more than 1/2 hour. I didn't add all the liquid. I added the egg to the 1 c milk and beat it. I added as much liquid as I needed. I was left with 1/3 c liquid. I also used 2 cup of white flour and 1 cup bleached whole wheat flour as I am beginning to do with most of my recipes, usually adding 50% bleached ww flour. I should add that I used a juice glass as my "cookie cutter." Using a food processor made incorporating the butter, child's play. EXCELLENT! THANKS FOR SHARING!

Easy recipe, however the texture was not correct for a scone. It was more of a cake, I'll be using a different recipe next time.

These were great! I followed the recipe exactly and they turned out wonderfully! All my family loved them and my father ate about half of them. Light and fluffy and so delicious.

This recipe helped me to master scones on my very first attempt. I used 1/2 & 1/2 instead of milk and added 1 cup of chocolate chips. I can't wait to try more additions!!!

Perfect basic scones recipe. I made orange cranberry (with sugar on top) and cheese dill. Both very perfectly flaky and fantastic.

Awesome. Use the frozen butter method where you grate it into the dry ingredients. Works awesome and saves a lot of "cutting". Made this many times with many variations. Thanks for the recipe.
