This is my first attempt at making stuffed mushrooms. Good recipe. As written, recipe would be a little bland. I added 1/4 tsp thyme & oregano to the crab mix and some fresh garlic to the onion/stems mixture in the pan. For the future I would recommend salting the mushrooms when you are coating them in the buttered dish. These were quite tasty and definately worth the time. I could have gotten 36 mushrooms with the stuffing mixture, because I had some left. Next time I may try using larger mushrooms, because they were rather difficult to work with being medium size. Also, the leftovers were better than fresh out of the oven. If you don't need them right away, refrigerate and enjoy the next day! Thanks for the recipe!
