I tried this with some granny smith apples and it tasted amazing! Goes very well with crepes.

Like eating apple pie without the crust... I topped it with whipped cream (a pinch of sugar and a bit of vanilla extract) and my family when crazy for it. It went so fast I immediately made a second batch and my little brothers begged me to make more for their lunches. My stepdad said "hmffyeagood" and left the room, which means hes mad that somebody bested him. So "hah!" to him:) and thank you for the recipe!

This is a wonderful, easy recipe! To often I have left over apples that no one will eat and I just hate throwing them out, so this is what I do with the apple that are about to go to waste. My family loves this dish whether its with porkchops at dinner or with sausage for breakfast.Thank you!

Delicious! I omitted the cornstarch and brown sugar (to make it less starchy and more healthy) and then put it with my oatmeal, drizzling maple syrup over top.

Great recipe! I have tried others, but this is the easiest and best. Perfect as is or as the base for adding raisins, cranberries or even pecans. Sometimes I add a little cloves and vanilla. Look no further for your recipe!
