So yummy and so easy! I never thought to try making applesauce, but I was left with about 8# of apples that were going. I almost doubled the recipe. It's a bit sweet for my taste (I prefer sour) but not much sweeter than conventional applesauce. I cooked on the stove and then transferred into the blender to puree. I'm lazy, LOL. Next time, I will probably cut a little of the sugar OR use granny smith instead of red delicious.
For those of you who want a smooth applesauce, don't transfer it all to the blender at once because there will likely be chunks left in. Transfer in smaller batches.
