I did spray my non-stick skillet with PAM. I also had to flip mine to get the egg to fully cook. Quick and easy to get you going.
My daughter liked this. I added cheese.
Although it is hard to make it look perfect, it still tastes delicious.
I ate this a lot when growing up, my mom always called it Egg In a Frame...it is a basic recipe that would work well, however you should grease the pan first and use a biscuit cutter to make the hole in the bread, you can make it different shapes with cookie cutters for a fun time, kids like this a lot...a good basic food, that is easy to prepare.
I had a lot of fun making this. Mine did not turn our perfect though, but it was still good:)
This is comfort food I got from my mother. Of course (gasp!) sara lee bread is not a requirement. :)
