Excellent! My whole family loved these cookies and I made them in one morning when everyone was eating breakfast. Instead of using walnuts, I used macadamia nuts - really good! Next time I plan on trying pecans!

I've loved these cookies since I was young and I always wanted to get the recipe. I finally got this one and tried it. My mom seemed sceptical but everyone was so pleased with the way they tasted! It's so simple and yet so delicious! I gave some away to friends with Christmas gifts. I can't say enough about these wonderful cookies! Thanks!

Just finished my first batch. Pleasant surprise. Not too sweet so the final touch of confectioner's sugar works well. Quick to prepare. Lined a tin w/red tissue paper, filled with a dozen cookies to make a finely presented gift. Thank you for sharing.
