If I could give this more stars, I would! I made a sheet cake so I 1/2 the recipe. My 4 boys and husband all raved over it! That never happens! Thank you

Like this frosting a lot! My family doesn't really like desserts that are way too sweet so instead of 9 cups of confectioner sugar I only put 5 cups. It was still sweet but not too sweet. I would probably try 4 cups next time I make it. Thank you.

Exactly the frosting you need when you think "I want some chocolate frosting". So good (Made 8 servings and it was perfect with the One Bowl Chocolate Cake III)

This frosting was amazing! It was simple enough that my 4 year old mostly made it! We only added 1/4 C of milk and the consistency was perfect for icing a cake.

I pared down the recipe to 6 servings as I was only making cupcakes. I also substituted Carob powder in place of the cocoa powder and added about 1/4 tsp of mint extract. YUM! great frosting, can't wait for the cupcakes to cool so I can frost one!

This recipe was amazing! I didn't have baking cocoa, however, so I used semi-sweet chocolate chips instead. It turned out tasting pretty dark so I kept adding vanilla until I got the right flavor. This frosting turned out great with my yellow cupcakes! Couldn't have been happier! I'll definitely be using this recipe every time I make chocolate frosting.
