We really enyed this i used canned plums, chili powder, black pepper, honey, soy, and pork steaks as this is what i had. tossed all the blender(not the steaks) and merinated all day grilled and basted with sause. So i guess i did quite follow the directions but it was your recipe that inspired tonights dish! All the guys gave it 5 stars so ill do the same and I will try this to the letter when I have the right stuff!

flavor not bad, i did use apricot preserves for local store didnt have plum. tasted good but as other reviewer said not thick enough to coat to much soy sauce to other ingrediants. I slow cooked mine in the oven in the sauce and was good but not what i was looking for.

Not a bad flavor but wasn't thick enough to coat the ribs.

OMG!!! I could not find plum jam, so I used plum sauce from the oriental section of the market. These were without a doubt, the best ribs I have ever eaten! The flavor is so delightful! I love them!! Thank You taste of Home!! These Rocked!!

This turned out good. I took liberties with this recipe. I did not have spareribs but had chops instead so I made up the sauce using a plum jelly I made with plums from our tree and baked the chops in the sauce in the oven at 350 until the thermometer indicated they were done. I did spoon sauce on the chops during the cooking.
