  1. Place chips and shortening in medium microwave-safe bowl. Microwave at HIGH (100%) 1 minute; stir. If necessary, microwave at HIGH an additional 15 seconds at a time, stirring after each heating, just until chips are melted and mixture is smooth when stirred. Stir in peanuts.
  2. Spoon heaping teaspoons of peanut mixture into 1-inch paper candy cups or paper-lined muffin cups. Refrigerate 1 hour or until firm. Store tightly covered in refrigerator. About 2-1/2 dozen candies.

These were awesome and very quick and easy! I was worried the clusters would taste like shortening but, they didn't at all. MAKE THEM! It's worth it!

i first made this recipe for a super bowl party. i've made it 4 times since then - by request. these are too good and too too easy!

Although I wasn't to fond of these, they were a big hit at our Christmas party! My husband and daughter thought they were great and I will make them again for our next party. Thanks for the recipe! These were super easy to make!
