Red Pepper Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 2 3/4 cups baking mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
  2. Combine biscuit mix, pepper, and 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder in a large bowl. With a fork, stir in milk and cheese until mixture forms a soft dough. Drop by 1/4 cupfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
  3. Combine butter and remaining 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, and brush on top of biscuits.
  4. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown.
