Directions

  1. Cook pasta as directed on package.
  2. Meanwhile, heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add chicken; cook and stir until no longer pink. Add peppers and mushrooms; cook 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in tomatoes and dressing; simmer on medium-low heat 5 minutes or until chicken is done.
  3. Drain pasta. Toss with chicken mixture. Sprinkle with cheese and basil.

This was very good! Ive never had fettuccine cacciatore before and after cooking It I didnt think id like it.... but, I loved it. My husband and children aged 3 and 5 also liked it. Im making this again very soon. :-)

This was a very quick and easy recipe, but I did make a few changes. I marinated my chicken in the Italian dressing for a couple hours and did not add straight Italian dressing to the mixture at the end. I didn't have stewed tomatoes so I just used diced tomatoes. I added minced garlic to the oil before adding the chicken. We also used some yummy basil & garlic fettuccine from Trader Joe's. Yummmm...

Wonderful and light. Very easy to make. I didn't have fettucine, fresh basil or the 4 cheese. So, I used spaghetti, dried basil, and parmesan. Will make again!

Wasn't horrible, but wasn't great either. I'm not a huge fan of Italian dressing, and felt it over powered all the other flavors.
