Sounds delicious! Although, a quick helpful tip to cheesecake makers: Let the cheesecake (ANY type) sit in the oven for at least two hours with the door open just a bit (Not halfway!) and the cracks will NEVER appear! Perfect cheesecake every time for me!

This was the first cheesecake I've ever made that didn't come from a box and I have to say it was amazing! It wasn't the prettiest cheesecake I had major cracks in it but the taste was out of this world..my family absolutely loved it and I have many many requests to make it for Christmas! I did make a few changes, I added some cloves and allspice to mine and doubled the crust recipe because we all like that nice thick crust but other than that made it as is...can't wait to make it again!!!!

Making it now. Looking forward to it. One tip for avoiding cracks. DO NOT open oven while it is cooking AND when the time is up, turn off oven but leave oven door closed for about an hour before taking out cheesecake. It works well for my regular cheesecake. Good luck and enjoy your holidays w/ family and friends.

Made this cheesecake for thanksgiving.. It was so easy and so delicious, the top cracked after I pulled it out of the oven, but I smothered the top with whipped cream. I've never made a cheesecake that didn't crack though! I will be making this cheesecake again next year at the request of my family!!

This was my first cheesecake and I will do again! The topping cracked and broke as we cut it, maybe because it was straight from the frig?! And I put a thin layer of Cool Whip on the outside edge to clean up appearance. Very good and easy!!
