Excellent flavor & the pork steaks/chops were ohhh-soooo tender. This recipe, as written, absolutely fantastic!

Hate to give a less than stellar review but this recipe was very marginal for me. Was it edible? Yes it was, but pork steaks/chops deserve the Southern Fried treatment at my house.

This was delicious! I also added a dash of Worcestershire and used regular onions instead of green. Perfect! NASCARBABY, you made a COMPLETELY different recipe and then gave this one 3 stars. How is that acceptable? I see this a lot, actually. It's one thing to tweak the recipe, but to do things that change it completely? Ridiculous. Just because you used the same meat, doesn't mean you have the right to rate this recipe.

I tried these first, as I always do, exactly as the recipe is written. They were very good and tender. The next time I added a little brown sugar to the pan and they came out with a wonderful glaze. I recommend both ways.

Delicious! I was looking for a fast and different way to cook my porkchops tonight and this was it! Unfortunately, I was very limited on supplies and didn't have any green onion or any sweet onions for that matter. The soy sauce and butter makes the pork so tender. I added lots of black pepper to give it more flavor though. Quick. Easy. Delicious. And you can customize this in SO many ways. Great pork recipe!

This is a great recipe, I wouldn't change a thing except to cook it until the pork is well done instead of medium. I know it's the "in" way to cook pork now, but I can't stand the taste of undercooked pork. I love the flavor of butter and soy sauce in cooking, I forget what it's called, but there is a name for it. I also use butter and soy sauce when I cook fresh spinach or baby bok choy.
