Cooked beans are pureed and dolled up with evaporated milk, lots of sugar, and a heap of spices -cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and cloves. This sweet and spicy filling is then poured into a pie shell and baked. Serve with whipped cream and a sprinkling of candied ginger.
