I used these for a holiday open house and they were wonderful!! Instead of Monteray Jack, we used Swiss. Ocean Spray has these tubs of cranberry chutney - I think they are called Cran-Fruit. I used the one with an orange flavoring. Ahead of time, I prepared them, rolled them up, wrapped the logs with Glad Wrap and placed them in the fridge. This made them easier to slice the day of the open house. A great holliday appetizer!

I really like the idea of it, but the cranberry sauce causes everything to slide around, so you can't really roll it up nicely in order to slice it into pinwheels. What was salvaged was just kind of blah for flavor.

not so easy. On my second attempt, I omitted the cheese and barely put any cranberrys. That made it much easier and less messy. I chilled the dough in the freezer just before using and that helped as well. Taste is not so good. I will not be making again.
