Use your favorite nuts for this pie. Three layers of deliciousness are spooned into a baked pie shell: a nutty, chocolaty bottom layer, a vanilla pudding middle layer, and whipped topping sprinkled with grated chocolate to top things off. Slip into the fridge to chill for a few hours.

Under the rich, bourbon-infused filling is a layer of chocolate and chopped nuts that melts while it bakes and adds great texture and flavor. This pie is especially lovely when served with vanilla bean ice cream. As famous in Kentucky as the Kentucky Derby!

Just like a chocolate chip cookie in a pie shell, this pie is sweet, chocolaty and gooey. Flour, eggs, sugar, butter, chocolate bits, and pecans make the filling for this delightful pie that bakes in about an hour.

This looks and tastes just like pecan pie, but it's made with oatmeal. My mom by marriage gave this recipe to me over 40 years ago. There's not a family get together without someone bringing one for our family dinners.
