Picante Beef Steaks with Sauteed Onions

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 (1 pound) boneless beef sirloin steak, 3/4-inch thick, cut into 4 pieces
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup Pace® Picante Sauce

Directions

  1. Heat half the oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef and cook until well browned on both sides. Remove the beef from the skillet. Pour off any fat.
  2. Heat the remaining oil in the skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until tender, stirring occasionally. Stir the picante sauce in the skillet. Return the beef to the skillet. Cook the beef for 2 minutes for medium or until desired doneness.
