made with fresh grown spinach, right out of the garden- I doubled the spinach amount- should have tripled it and also used gnocchi instead of penne- spooned the sauce over top of it all instead of mixing it- to satisfy kids who like everything plain- but even my really picky teen liked the sauce

Perfect. Very simple to cook up, only need 15 minutes. Make sure not to cook the garlic on medium high heat it'll burn fast. I cooked it on medium for a couple minutes, perfect. Also, I added mushrooms, and sundried tomatoes, compliments very well. Also, make sure to add as much spinach as possible, I added a bag and it wasn't close to enough, it wilts and disappears so fast. Overall, great meal for my family.

Oh my this is good! I added half an onion, extra garlic, some sliced mushrooms and the whole bag of spinach. I also only used 2 chicken breasts (which was more than enough for 3 hungry adults with leftovers) and I used a jar of alfredo sauce. We sprinkled fresh parmesan on top and it turned out awesome! My brother-in-law thought it was Bertolli. Ha!

Loved it! Made with skim milk and Light Butter to reduce calories. Doubled the amount of spinach and added extra 1/2 Tbs pesto for richer flavor. Also, served with fresh asparagus and after the meal, chopped up the leftover asparagus and threw it in too, it was delicious! You can't go wrong with this recipe, even the kids like it.

I made this dish last night. It was very good - everyone enjoyed it. I probably used more of everything than the dish called for...but more is more. :) I would make this again. It was simple and delicious. I used wheat pasta and canned Alfredo sauce. Very good.

Not much flavor. Family vote is to try it again in the future but double the pesto before we veto it out of the recipe collection.
