Delicious dessert! I made this in a springform pan instead of a 9X13 dish. I made fresh homemade vanilla ice cream which is spread easily over the cookie crust. It is easier to make homemade ice cream if you are able to or allow store bought ice cream to soften rather to "cut" ice cream to place on top of the cookie crust. I used Spanish peanuts in place of salted dry roasted since I already had a can of them. Either peanut would be tasty. The fudge sauce was easy enough to make, just make sure you allow enough time for it to cool.
