Fantastic! Didn't have enough peaches, so did half peaches and half sour cherries. Turned out great.

Made as written, these are really bland. I can't quite figure out why. Reasonable amount of salt, cinnamon. The texture was dense as well. With that in mind and given the amount of baking powder in the recipe and the fact that the tops did not brown much, I think the sugar and honey combo could be the cause. They might be made more flavorful by using all sugar and no honey. Not sure just what fix is needed, but I would not make these again as written. I also did not care for the taste of the chunks of cream cheese. I baked mine at 350 degrees, and they were perfectly done at 20 minutes.

I'll be honest...I LOVED these, with a couple of small changes. I was looking for a way to use up some bran flakes that a former roommate left behind, and these sounded so interesting. I made the following changes: added 1 tsp vanilla extract as per previous reviewer's suggestion, slightly more lemon zest, and half whole wheat flour/half all purpose. I didn't measure how much lemon zest I put in, but it was the zest of half a lemon - not tons more, but more. The half whole wheat flour was personal preference, but I think it worked really well. I will definitely make them again. Personally I like the cubes of cream cheese so left it in cubes and did not blend into the batter.

Tasty! I added a butter/brown sugar/cinnamon mixture to the tops. Would love these again sometime as a nice brunch time muffin.

3 1/2 stars..I normally don't make recipes with few/low ratings.. but this one sounded like it'd be something I would like. I didn't change any of the ingredients, and followed the instructions to a "t". I really like the texture of the muffin, and I also like the chunks of cream cheese and peaches in it. But the rest of the muffin is flavorless. I can't taste any cinnamon, and I think it could benefit from some vanilla extract and maybe other spices... Even a cinnamon/sugar topping might help these. Overall, this is not a horrible muffin.. Just needs a little tweaking! :)

I took the previous reviewer's hint on blending the cream cheese into the batter, but now they are just peach bran muffins. A little plain, but they used up some items I had in the fridge.

I was a little skeptical making a recipe without any reviews, these were ok but need some adjustments. I will make these again but definately beat the cream cheese into the batter, biting into a bitter chunk of cream cheese really wakes up the tasters. I will also add some brown sugar and increase cinnamon as these were kind of blah. After I make these again I will be back:)
