Fruit pies can be tricky to get just right, but this is an awesome peach pie recipe. The peaches I used were large, and it only took 6 or 7 of them to fill up the pie plate to heaping. Also used a store-bought crust. Will make this crowd-pleaser again for sure!

I followed this recipe to a T...and it never set up. There was way to much juice to cut it. The taste of if was still pretty good though.

Made it tonight and am surprised at how well it turned out. Thanks to all the other reviewers for the tips and encouraging me to make my first pie! Here's what I did differently and it still turned out fantastic: - 50% less sugar (only had white sugar. I generally believe that desserts are way too sweet.) - no lemon used (forgot) - no flour flower used (outside of the pre made pie crust from Trader Joe's) - mixed fresh peaches and apples (peeled and cut) - used vegan butter much less than the recipe called for Despite cutting down on butter, sugar, and flour, it still came out very rich and not too sweet. It tastes so good, now I need to get it out of the house I don't eat it all. Also, I made the crumble from the left over pie crust, just put more cinnamon and sugar and baked it separately in the oven, and added it to the pie after it was done baking.

Loved it! And so did the family. It was still runny and warm when we ate it (with vanilla ice cream. Next time it will have time to cool down (maybe).

Delish!!! Next time will try the brown and white sugar combo. My peaches weren't really ripe so did not have a runny issue but if they are really juicy will remember to add the cornstarch. Thank you for the recipe...it was a big hit!

I followed the advice of some other posters-- mixed half white sugar, half brown, and let it set. I also added pumpkin pie spice. It was PERFECT! Quick and easy pie with rave reviews.

This peach pie was VERY good. Kind of a sloppy mess, but I'll use other reviewers' idea of not adding the butter to the flour mixture next time. I did add cornstarch, and I did turn off the oven and let it sit in there while the oven cooled. Delicious, just messy (which makes me not want to bring it to gatherings, etc.).
