Peach Blueberry Cobbler Recipe Reviews - Allrecipes.com (Pg. 1)

The cobbler topping resembles biscuit and is very rich, which is kind of nice but can feel too much at times. I used cream but I might try using evaporated milk next time to make it less rich. Overall a not overly sweet dessert which I appreciate.

This is good stuff! I used a 1 lb bag of frozen peaches that actually measured close to 4 cups (frozen) it was just enough to cover the bottom of a 8 x 8 pyrex dish. I measured 1 cup of fresh blueberries and decided that wasn't enough so I added about another 1/2 cup. This isn't a really sweet dessert, which I like. A little tart, a little sweet. I think I would up the tapioca a bit next time though - just to thicken up the juices a bit. Thanks for sharing!

Had to use limes as no lemons available....and it really came out quite tasty. I also added about .5-1 tsp of vanilla extract to the fruit mix. My peaches were more sour, but the sweetness of the blueberries was a welcome flavor.

I am writing this review as I eat it (warm with whipped cream) - it is very good! I added a bit of cinnamon to the topping and I didn't have mace, so my version was modified a bit. I would say the pecans are definitely optional. I used fresh fruit - both nectarines and peaches, and blueberries.

Liked this recipe because it called for frozen or fresh fruit.
