Paprika Chili Steak

Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 1/2 pounds beef flank steak

Directions

  1. In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the first eight ingredients; add steak. Seal bag and turn to coat; refrigerate for 3 hours or overnight, turning occasionally.
  2. Coat grill rack with nonstick cooking spray before starting the grill. Drain and discard marinade. Grill steak, covered, over medium-hot heat for 6-8 minutes on each side or until meat reaches desired doneness (for medium-rare, a meat thermometer should read 145 degrees F; medium, 160 degrees F, well-done, 170 degrees F.

Yummy flavor but a little thick, it got somewhat caked on the meat while grilling.

excellent, easy to make. I didn't have any onion, so I omitted that.
