Pancakes I Recipe Reviews - Allrecipes.com (Pg. 6)

Very rarely do I find a recipe on this site that I do not like but, unfortunately, this is one of them. I followed the recipe exactly and even let it sit and they did not get fluffy. I suppose it could have been my baking powder or soda but that wouldn't have changed the fact that they didn't have much taste at all. I probably won't make these again.

These pancakes are simple and delicious. They were very thin, so next time I will put them in the fridge, like others suggested, to make them fluffier. This will be my new pancake recipe!

These were beautiful. Easy mix, poured nicely, cooked up so pretty. However, they had no taste. I will probably try some changes like using butter instead of oil and dropping the amount of sugar. But I made them exactly to recipe and we were not impressed.

This is my go to recipe for pancakes. So easy. If I double the recipe, I use applesauce in place of oil. If I don't double I don't add the oil. I also use 1/2 whole wheat flour, 1/2 white flour. Super easy and my family loves them!

Perfect amount for two hungry adults! I also did what another reviewer suggested and refrigerated the batter after slowly mixing for about 5-10 minutes. Batter will look clumpy and partially separated but don't worry it's just right. I used a 1/4 cup to pour out the pancakes and it made them a good size to flip using a regular spatula. I set my electric griddle to just under 300 degrees and they came out nice and golden. Great simple recipe and you can add berries or chocolate chips if your feeling snazzy.

I used "soured" lactose free milk in this recipe. I made no other changes or substitutions. The pancakes turned out light and fluffy. I served this with homemade strawberry topping and whipped cream. My family ate every single pancake. NO leftovers.

These were delicious and I liked that I could make them from simple household ingredients! I used unsweet vanilla almond milk instead of regular milk, and they tasted very good!
