Where we live is the #1 producer of asparagus in Canada, so we eat A LOT of it and I'm always looking for new ways to prepare it. This is the best recipe I've tried.
I had just used the last of my fresh garlic in the chicken I was making for dinner, so I used a garlic/sea salt blend instead and didn't use quite as much salt or oil as the recipe called for. I also only cooked it for 8 or 9 minutes. It was fantastic! Even my husband, who isn't super fond of asparagus, really liked it. The asparagus kept it's colour and had a great flavour. Will be making this again in the very near future.
