Ingredients

  • 1 cinnamon stick, broken into pieces
  • 5 whole cloves
  • 2 tablespoons dried orange peel
  • 2 whole black peppercorns
  • 6 black tea bags, strings removed

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, combine cinnamon stick, cloves, orange peel and peppercorns. Place spice mixture and the tea bags in a cheesecloth bag, and tie with kitchen string.
  2. To prepare tea: Bring 8 cups water to boil. Add cheesecloth bag and steep for 5 minutes.

Probably ok, but have found that adding just orange peel to a tea doesn't do much, even after...

The orange flavor is fairly noticeable, but the clove/cinnamon is subtle to say the least....
