Ingredients

  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 3 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup flaked coconut
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup crisp rice cereal
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large bowl, mix all ingredients until well blended.
  2. Drop on greased cookie sheets and bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
