These really were rich and tender like the description says! I made these to have as a snack with raspberry preserves and it was delicious. I was trying to see if I taste the cream cheese in this but I really don't. They are quite delicious though. I think I will make these particularly for sweet spreads and not really for savoury. But that's just my preference. Thanks!

Pretty good and very easy to make! The recipe yielded twelve slightly larger biscuits for me; I didn't use a cookie cutter or anything fancy, just shaped them and placed them on the baking sheet by hand. You don't really know the cream cheese is in there. These were great with butter, jam and a nice cup of hot tea.
I wanted a savory biscuit, and since I had Philly herb 'n garlic light cream cheese spread on hand, I used it in this recipe. I also used whole wheat flour and 1% milk. The bisuits were tender and rich and very flavorful. Next time I will add a 1/4 tsp or so of garlic powder as well. I absolutely will be making these often. This is a fantastic recipe.
These were not the best I have ever had, but they will certainly do in a pinch. I didn't have cream cheese spread, so I just used regular cream cheese. About 9 oz.'s. Otherwise, I did not vary from the recipe. Mine made about 16 biscuits, though I think I cut them less than 3/4 inch. While they were not flat, they didnt' raise as much as I would have liked. All in all.. good in a pinch! I think that a little salt and a little sugar would make these much much better!
Good, I agree with the previous reviewer who said these could use a little salt. Next time will add 1/4 tsp. with the flour.
Very easy to make. I threw in some cheddar since it seems that other reviews suggest that these biscuits lacked flavour. Other than that, it was delicious and I will make again.
CRAZY GOOD. I used Philly's chive and onion cream cheese, whole wheat white flour and lowfat buttermilk. I actually made at-home sausage and egg breakfast sandwiches with this recipe--the boys LOVED them. Huge hit. Thumbs up from me because it used cream cheese I'd bought on sale last week that I needed to use ASAP and it was quick. I'll use this recipe again for sure.
