Oatmeal Raisin Cookies I Recipe Reviews - Allrecipes.com (Pg. 7)

First, would like to say I am not an oatmeal cookie fan. More of a choc-chip kinda gal. Was baking these for a dear friend who cannot eat choc-chip due to migraines- oatmeal raisin is his fav. That said, I LOVED this recipe. I did two changes - #1 used all dark brown sugar - I was all out of white. #2 increased the cinnamon to 1 tsp. Used a mixer until I put in the raisins - but kept it running very low. Baked on aluminum cookie sheets with a piece of parchment on it - this resolved the sticky cookie difficulties. They turned out beautiful, tasted yummy.

I did not care for this recipe. They were flat as a crepe, fall apart...they taste delicious though.

I used all brown sugar instead of white and doubled the raisins. I'm not sure what happened in other kitchens, but these turned out perfectly for me :)

This is by far the best oatmeal raisin cookie recipe I have made. My sister hated oatmeal cookies. However I could not keep her out of these! The perfect amount of cinnamon!

I have made these before and they turned out perfect, today they are a mess! They were flat and so hard to get off my pan. I had 2 sheets of one large cookie! I always measure perfectly and never stray from the directions. Im so frustrated, Im going to try to add more flour and see how that works.

These cookies are delicious! However, I needed to add extra flour(1/4 c.) so they would puff up insead of going thin and flat.
