First, would like to say I am not an oatmeal cookie fan. More of a choc-chip kinda gal. Was baking these for a dear friend who cannot eat choc-chip due to migraines- oatmeal raisin is his fav.
That said, I LOVED this recipe. I did two changes - #1 used all dark brown sugar - I was all out of white. #2 increased the cinnamon to 1 tsp. Used a mixer until I put in the raisins - but kept it running very low. Baked on aluminum cookie sheets with a piece of parchment on it - this resolved the sticky cookie difficulties. They turned out beautiful, tasted yummy.
