No-Fuss Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1/2 cup 2% milk
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, combine all of the ingredients. Spoon into six muffin cups coated with nonstick cooking spray. Bake at 450 degrees F for 8-10 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack. Serve warm.

Footnotes

  • As a substitute for 1 cup of self-rising flour, place 1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon salt in a measuring cup. Add all-purpose flour to measure 1 cup.
  • Nutritional Analysis: 1 roll equals 111 calories, 4 g fat (1 g saturated fat), 3 mg cholesterol, 275 mg sodium, 16 g carbohydrate, trace fiber, 3 g protein. Diabetic Exchanges: 1 starch, 1 fat.
