Never Enough Green Bean Casserole Recipe Reviews - Allrecipes.com (Pg. 5)

I love all the ingredients in this and got great feedback at my potluck today - but agree w/others that this recipe is a bit "saucy" so I'd add extra beans to this. This was tasty! I put this on top of my mashed potatoes and was awesome.

This wasn't a hit at our dinner; over half of it was left over. The texture was too thick.

This recipe is so good, I had to refrain from keeping the pan for myself. I was taking it to my potluck at work, so I used an 8x12 casserole dish, which required me to double the recipe. It was a success and I will always use this recipe moving forward.

This is the best green bean casserole ever. I have made it the last two years and thanksgiving and everyone loves it.

I have tried many different green bean casserole reciepes, but this is by far the easiest and the best tasting. the cheese and bacon add a great touch!

This was pretty good, but for a reason I can't really identify, had a slightly bitter aftertaste. Was it the processed cheese or the store brand beans? I'm not sure. The store brand beans I bought had another problem in that the stems were not all cut off of the beans. Next time, I'll buy a premium brand. Please note that the volume of this casserole is quite small. If you have more than four people to feed or wish to have leftovers, it makes sense to double this recipe.

Very good, cooked my own bacon instead of the bacon bits & added Tony's creole seasoning for some kick - such a nice change from the ordinary

Made this for my daughter's birthday dinner and loved it. It was better than most typical green bean casseroles that don't have the cheese.

i did change this a little because i got to work tonight to find out we were going to a bring a dish function. i substituted extra sharp cheddar for the velveeta and fried and crumbled some bacon and used fresh mushrooms. this was a hit! there were about 300 people at this event and more food than ive ever seen and when i went back for our dishes there was alot leftover but this dish was empty... i did notice that several peoples dishes had the recipe attached to the side and next time ill do that because a few people asked for it.
