Mom's Baked Beans I

"This is a version of a recipe my Mom used to make. I converted it to a low fat recipe, but it is oh-so-good!!"

Ingredients

  • 2 (28 ounce) cans baked beans
  • 2 onions, cut into wedges
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 1/2 cup barbeque sauce
  • 1 tablespoon liquid smoke flavoring

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
  2. In a 3 quart casserole dish combine beans, onions, molasses, barbecue sauce and liquid smoke flavoring.
  3. Bake in preheated oven for 2 to 2 1/2 hours, stirring every 20 minutes.
