Original recipe makes 6 servings Change Servings


  1. In large saucepan, combine coffee, sweetened condensed milk and chocolate syrup. Over low heat, cook and stir until coffee is hot.
  2. Pour 1 1/4 cups coffee mixture into 12-ounce mugs.
  3. Garnish with whipped cream and chocolate shavings, if desired. Serve immediately. Store leftovers covered in refrigerator.

My girlfriend made this for a meeting and it was to DIE for! Super delicious, but very sweet. I've also had this recipe without the chocolate syrup added, and it was just as good. Sept. 2007...I made this for a brunch last week and used 12 cups of strong coffee and 1 can of sweet cond. milk. It was still SUPER sweet...but good. I can't imagine only using 6 cups of coffee and 3/4 cup of chocolate sauce on top of that...WAY TOO SWEET!

I made this for one, adding in a bit of hazelnut liqueur to keep with the theme of the night. Very rich and creamy.

I made this recipe because I had some leftover sweetened condensed milk from another recipe. Boy am I gald I did! This is an absolutely delicious and easy mocha. I scaled mine to one serving and put the chocolate syrup and the sweetened condensed milk right in the mug. Then I microwaved it for about 20 seconds to warm it up. Then I brewed the coffee right into the mug (I have a single serve coffee brewer). A quick stir with a spoon to combine everything and a splash of half and half and this drink was delicious! Easy and yummy. Tastes as good as a coffee house mocha in my opinion.
