Salted peanuts in a sugary, crunch candy. All the cooking is done in the microwave, then just pour it onto a cookie sheet, let it cool, break it off and eat it.

These are kind of like peanut brittle cookies! Sugar, corn syrup, butter, vanilla extract and red food coloring are microwaved with peanuts to make these simple, no bake cookies.

A touch of hot pepper sauce gives a unique zip to this crunchy confection from Janie Sanders of Vicksburg, Mississippi. 'We call it blistering brittle,' she says. The mixture reaches hard-crack stage in the microwave, so you don't even need a candy thermometer for this brittle.

This is a delicious brittle candy that you can whip up in just a couple of minutes. You can be creative with this and use toffee, pistachios, or other nuts.
