OUTSTANDING! They do melt in your mouth. I used the 375 temp for 13 minutes and they were perfect.....all ovens are different so if yours does not turn out the perfect shortbread the first time, try it again. These are great and EASY!!

I generally don't like shortbread because of its too-dense consistency, but these were as soft as promised. I served them with a dollop of whipped cream and slices of strawberry and kiwi on top. Light, fresh, and just the right amount of sweet! Next time I cook them I'll be more careful about shaping the tops; I expected them to settle and spread in the oven but they retained their exact shapes as dropped onto the cookie sheet. Thanks for sharing this recipe, Jennifer; it's a keeper!

Great texture and beautiful when piped from a pastry bag. The floury taste wasn't to our liking, but I may play with it a bit to see if we could modify it for ourselves because I really liked the meltiness.

These cookies are much more like MERINGUE than shortbread. [Not that they aren't good, but if you are expecting buttery shortbread, you may be dissapointed. These turn out to be more like airy, crumbly meringue.]

These were really good. They are your typical shortbread, a little dry but that's what they are!! I wish they were just a tad creamier but still good!! My mother in law and hubby inhaled them.

I whipped the butter for about 10 minutes in the kitchen aid mixer before adding the other ingredients, and this turned out to be the best shortbread I have ever made. I doubled the recipe and EVERYONE wanted to take some home from the party! I sprinkled the tops with red and green coloured sugar, which added just the right touch. Amazing recipe and highly recommended.
