Very Good recipe! never made a Pumpkin pie before and did 3 for Thanksgiving 2002 and my dad who is 86yrs old LOVES pumpkin pie, it is his favorite pie and prefers it over cakes, Said it was GREAT! one of the best he ever tasted!!
We thought this pie was okay but we like our pumpkin pie with a little more pie spice. Thanks for letting us try.
an easy classic that always gets rave reviews!
Made this for my nephew's kindergarten "Thanksgiving Feast",(a VERY big event!) Liked the idea of a little less spice for little ones, but still a traditional pumpkin pie. Made a full, pretty pie. Good!
Just the kind of recipe I was looking for, simple and classic. Comes out perfect. However, I can't speak for the instruction's cooking times or temperatures. I have a finicky oven and have to determine my own cooking times and temps. But the pie is delicious.
We had this last month for Thanksgiving and was totaly great. I did have to cook longer than the 55 Min that was stated as it was still soupy in the center..
My husband loves pumpkin anything especially pie! This is a 5 star recipe with a few variations. I prefer to use white sugar about 3/4 cup. I also like to use separate spices instead of pumpkin pie spice (1 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp ginger, 1/4 tsp ground cloves). Very good recipe!
For pie just like mom used to make, try this no-fail recipe.
