Because of the butter the flavor of these cookies can’t be beat. But… they are greasier, softer and flatter than I prefer. Having said that, however, there are those, like Hubs, who LIKE their cookies kind of soft, greasy and on the flat side) The culprit IS the butter – there’s too much of it! Reduce it to a cup and we might just have a 5-star recipe here.
