My youngest son and I followed the recipe exactly, using butter flavored shortening. I did make a little more of the cinnamon/sugar mix and I made it heavy on the cinnamon as I REALLY coat my cookie balls. This cookie turned out nicely--just what a Snickerdoodle should be. NOTE: I got 36 cookies out of one recipe. My cookies were just right at exactly nine minutes.

Use 350F or 375F - mine burned in 8 minutes at 400!

very good and easy recipe. For Christmas cookies I mix the cinnamon and white sugar with green or red sugar crystals. They're one of the family favorites.

So good! This is a great recipe. Only change I made was to use 2 tablespoons of cinnamon. Otherwise these cookies were a hit! Like eating a cinnamon role in cookie form!

These are the perfect Snickerdoodles! I love that the recipe uses butter and shortening, keeps the cookies soft! Thanks McCormick! My family loves these!
