Original Recipe Yield 3 cups
 

Ingredients

  • 1 (750 milliliter) bottle dry white wine
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup strawberries, halved
  • 1 tablespoon recently dried woodruff leaves

Directions

  1. Pour the wine into a pitcher or wine carafe. Add strawberries and woodruff leaves; let stand for at least 1 hour. Strain out the berries and leaves, then stir in lemon juice. Serve chilled and garnish with strawberry halves.
