Del Monte® Sliced Pears in Heavy Syrup or Del Monte® Lite Sliced Pears, drained and chopped

Delicious and easy! I used fresh pears, 1/4 cup of butter, and two very large yams! Yum!
Easy and yummy! I added a pinch of brown sugar, used fresh pears, and a pinch of cinnamon to add a little more sweetness. I cut down on the butter to about 1/4 cup. Husband loved it!

I loved the flavor combination of sweet potato, pear and sage. I made this for 3 people. Rather than using canned pears, I sauteed a fresh, diced pear in ~ 1 Tbsp butter. The juice that is released is enough to moisten the mashed sweet potatoes so not as much butter is needed.
Absolutely delicious. Best sweet potato recipe I've tried. I'm really surprised there aren't more reviews and almost didn't try because of that. I found that potatoes didn't need to be scooped , I just held hot potato with a fork and peeled the skin right off with a knife. Sweet potato lovers must try this
