1/2 cup Marzetti® Original Slaw Dressing
12 pieces Bacon, pre-cooked and crumbled
1 (16 ounce) package Classic Coleslaw mix
2 Granny Smith apples, diced
1 tablespoon Caraway seeds
1/4 teaspoon Freshly ground black pepper
1 cup Walnut pieces
1/2 cup Crumbled blue cheese
EXCELLENT! A wonderful combination of ingredients. Need to bring a salad to a potluck or a barbecue? This would be a winner...it's a nice twist on a traditional dish.
I thought it was awesome. If I had to do it over again, I would actually fry some real bacon. This was the first time I used the ready cooked and I wasn't impressed. I also only used one and a half apples. I think it was because my apples were kind of big. My mom went wild over it and asked me to make it again. The adult kids were discovering a new flavor. My husband hated it because of the blue cheese. I thought it was pretty awesome and plan to make it for the next pot luck.

I love this salad. I had apples and blue cheese that I needed to use up and found this recipe. Fantastic combination of flavors. I used "Cole Slaw Dressing" recipe on this site and it all worked very well. The only faults I can find were my own; I used a bit too much caraway and I used prepackaged broccoli slaw that was a bit tough. Those were the only changes I made and if I would have kept to the recipe exactly it would have been better. I think I would like a bit more blue cheese. This is a keeper!
Nice change to traditional coleslaw. I used real bacon and a homemade dressing.
this turned out really good, and as far as the bacon, it says "bacon, pre cooked and crumbled." which is real bacon which you cook, then crumble, instead of throwing it in RAW.
