The taste of the wine was too strong in this recipe and didn't like the sauce either
The type of marsala wine you use makes a big difference, the cheaper the wine the more pungent the taste. I buy a midrange bottle for about $7 and use it for chicken marsala also and it works well. The mushroom topping wasn't great so I wouldn't make the topping again.
thought this was pretty yum - was short on time so i just added the cheese (fresh mozz) on top. would be curious to try w/ ground chicken or turkey.
Made this for lunch today using ground turkey and it was delicious. I did not, nor would I ever use grocery store cooking wine. The real stuff is only a few bucks more and it's well worth it in taste.
