This is the best marinade ever! I have shared this recipe with many of my friends and family. It is delicious on pork as well. I wouldn't change a thing.

I did enjoy this recipe for the most part. However, next time I think I will leave out the lemon juice as I found the red wine vinegar flavour was masked and I all I could taste was lemon.

Positively wonderful. We eat a lot of chicken and this recipe makes a very flavorful meal. I ended up using the full recipe to the detail but ended up adding twice the amount of chicken because there was SO MUCH marinade. My family all loved it! So no complaints from them equals no complaints from me! Plus the chicken was great as an addition to my salad the next day.

This was sooooooo delicious! I added minced garlic and used this same recipe to marinate steaks the next night. I have a lot of people in this house ranging in ages from 10-45 and EVERYONE loved it!! I'm using it again tonight =)

This is a great marinade. I've been using this exact one for flank and skirt steaks for the last 25 years. It's especially good if you can marinade for up 8-10 hours before grilling; anymore and you risk burning the meat. It was my mother who gave me the recipe, though I don't know where she got it from originally. It is my go-to recipe and I'm so happy to see it on the web. No more looking through those old, stained and now disorganized recipe cards!!! Thanks.

This is a very good maranade. I used olive oil instead of vegetable oil. Kicked up the seasonings a little and let the boneless chicken breasts maranade in the fridge for about 7 hours then grilled. Very good! Made a lot so I put chicken in a baggie and covered with maranade. Bottled the rest for later use. Thanks for a great recipe!

We both agree it is ok but nothing to jump up and down about. Used light soy sauce, don't need extra salt.

Truly delicious and very easy. Smoky, complex flavor. Marinated the chicken for 4 hours which was plenty, though more time makes it even better. I only used 1/2 a cup of oil rather than 1 1/2 cups, and could probably have used even less.

Just tried this and can't get over how flavorful this makes boneless, skinless chicken breasts. And it keeps the meat moist for a perfect BBQ presentation.
