I am by no means a cook or a baker of any sorts. My husband does most of the cooking, so the fact that I was able to make these and that they actually TURNED OUT was amazing! But this was actually extremely simple! They were a hit, and this was my very first attempt. I always had these at church functions when I was younger and other people would make them, so I thought of them and figured I'd give them a try. When I saw the few ingredients that were needed, it was a done deal. They turned out amazing! I read one woman's review about how she added 2 1/2 cups of graham cracker crumbs instead of 1 1/2 and decided upon doing that - what I found was that I felt I needed even a little more, so I added about 3 cups of crumbs and doubled the butter/margarine amount. I definitely don't see how 1 1/2 cups would suffice. I also didn't measure any of the other ingredients either. I just sprinkled walnuts, coconut, butterscotch chips and semi sweet chocolate chips evenly, until it looked to me like a good amount - not too little, not too much and they turned out perfect. Had to leave them in the oven probably an additional 10 minutes because they didn't look done at 25, but everyone's oven is different. I love this recipe and will be using it from now on!
