Soy sauce and sugar, added to a bit of vinegar and oil, stir up into a dandy dressing that tops this broccoli/romaine salad. Lightly toasted ramen noodles and chopped walnuts are sprinkled on before serving.

The dressing is sweet and the salad is crunchy - hence the name of this tasty salad. A bit of sugar sweetens the herbed vinegar and oil dressing, and sunflower seeds, ramen noodles, cashews, and water chestnuts add the crunch in the coleslaw salad.

Chunks of turkey or chicken add a variety to this wonderful broccoli salad. Try with crisp red grapes and a bit of diced red onion. Instead of mayonnaise, use a creamy style salad dressing done up with vinegar and sugar.

Lots and lots of terrific herbs are whisked into this delightful vinegar and oil marinade. There 's rosemary, oregano, basil, and marjoram as well as all the herbs secreted away in the Italian seasoning mix that 's added. Fresh veggies - your choice - are marinated for a good four hours and then served.
