This margarita was WAY too sweet for our tastes. I made simple syrup using Splenda Granulated (1:1 ratio with water) which could possibly have made a difference. This was the first time I really appreciated the salt on the rim of the glass. It should be noted also that the ingredient list just says simple syrup, but the directions note sugar-free simple syrup, and I don't know that sugar-free is readily available for purchase, meaning you would have to make your own.
